I love that they serve the personal pizzas because those are my kids favorite. They feel special having their own box and it pleases both the cheese and pepperoni fans in my house.

BONUS, they also serve the LaRosa's boneless wings. That's my favorite item to order when I'm not in a pizza mood - which is not often ;).

Y’all, we had a ball at the Gold Star All-Star game yesterday!

Michigan has some incredible sunsets! These pictures hardly do it justice. ❤️

We spent 4 days exploring the towns of Silver Lake, Saugatuck and South Haven.

We stayed in South Haven and I’d go back again in a heartbeat.
🏖kid-friendly beaches with a playground and splash pad
🍔 Great restaurant options
🫐 Berry picking farms with a petting zoo at @bumbleberrypie12
🥾 Hiking and biking trails
🛍 Affordable shopping
And other adventures within an easy drive.

While we like the town of Saugatuck, I’m not sure we’d stay there. The town itself is much more crowded and finding a parking spot was a major chore. It rained that day, but we were looking forward to riding the chain ferry and exploring the dunes state park and taking another dune buggy ride!

We found the @saugatuckbrewingco and it cured our rainy day blues. There was an antique market next store to explore and the barrel room had board games, shuffleboard and arcade games. Plus, the beer was really good.

We drove to Silver Lake to see the dunes and ride the Mac Woods Dunes Scooters and while it was a 2 hr drive, it was worth it! A great experience seeing the dunes on both the Silver Lake and Lake Michigan side. They don’t take reservations and expect a wait! There’s a playground and an ice cream shop next door to keep everyone occupied.

You can rent sand surfboards from a shop called The Sandbox and drive to the pedestrian entrance to surf.

My kids absolutely loved class with Angelo! They were fun, high energy and built confidence!

Our kids don’t do the fun coasters, so we left them with a sitter and hit @kingsislandpr for a date day/night!

It’s been a minute since we’ve been on coasters, but we hit as many as we could and screamed our faces off before the rain it!

Have you jumped at @altitudecincyanderson yet? It’s new, in the Anderson Towne Center, and they have some sweet grand opening deals like $10/month unlimited jump and this August one that includes 🍕. ➡️ Swipe to see that one.

It’s similar to the previous jump place there, minus the jousting pit. There’s dodgeball, basketball, rock climbing, jumping and more.

It’s perfect for the super hot days or rainy ones ☔️.

@greatohiolodges has some awesome options for weekend getaways, family reunions or a getaway with friends.

@consistently_curious has shared experiences at several of their parks that look amazing! My father in law has RV camped at many, but this was my first time experiencing one.

We went to Salt Fork State Park with family and there was a TON to do.

✅ Plenty of room in the pool
✅ Shuffleboard
✅ Sand volleyball
✅ Playground
✅ Hiking
✅ Fishing
✅ Kayaking & Boating
✅ Putt Putt
✅ Golf
✅ Kids activities (👀 that sweet tie dye she made?) and so much more!

Rooms aren’t fancy but family friendly with bunk options and balconies too.

We’re adding Maumee Bay & the new Hocking Hills Lodge to our list!

I hate when July hits the ‘20s’. It sends me into summer is almost over panic.

I dread the back to school prep coming and getting these kids on a routine again. Yet at the same time, I’m sick of the bickering and chaos of summer.

Trying to squeeze in some more fun and at the same time telling myself if we didn’t accomplish our summer bucket list and they haven’t touched their summer work, we’re all doing just fine!

What’s your summer mood?

🎶A-A-Aye, I’m on vacation (well, wishing I still was).

We tried 30A this year for the first time. We stayed in Seacrest but explored the neighborhing towns of Alys, Rosemary Beach, Seagrove, Santa Rosa, etc. We had some iffy weather which brought in sea grass, incredible waves and epic sunsets.

We loved the restaurants we tried: (pic 2) @thebaysouthwalton was fantastic and I had the best pesto red fish dinner!

(Pic 3) @northbeachsocial was a perfect casual vibe for the kids with sand to play in and games to play with. Food is ordered at the counter and brought to your table while the kids play so it’s the perfect place when you’re hungry and don’t have the patience for a wait! Plus, live music 🎵 which is always a favorite for me.

@oldfloridafishhouse was an excellent meal also, with TONS of seating and they took reservations. Bonus! There’s an outdoor space to hang while the kids play.

@buddys_30a has the BEST seafood gumbo and I’m still craving it. Wish we would have brought some back. This place is brilliant because you can get a shrimp boil or fresh catch cooked how you like it and take it home for dinner. A quick, easy and delicious meal!

@doughseadough had INCREDIBLE donuts. The maple was soft and just sweet enough. So fantastic.

Feed the goats & watch the cows roam.

Eat the delicious cheese curds (SO GOOD) and be sure to try ice cream or a milkshake.

⚾️ Hit the batting cages
Play inside their huge new play pace & store.

Then walk through the town of Yellow Springs and shop for unique gifts and handmade treasures.

Kids of all ages will love this adventure.

It’s amazing in the fall for pumpkin season, but don’t sleep on how fun it is the rest of the year!
